(Hartford) Up at 5.30. Off at 6 for Springfield. Breakfasted at Massasoit. Off at 8 for Mr. Tom station. Thence to E. Hampton. Called at Walter Camp's room. Thence to Dr. Seelye's and to Mr. Wright's. Found Walter at recitation. With him at his room. Off with Dr. Seelye at 10 for Northampton. Thence to Springfield. Called at Merriam's. Off for home at 12.10. Home at 1. Downtown in afternoon with Johnny. Gas fitter changed bracket in spare room. Out to High-school in evening, but returned to work on sermon. Retired at 11. Sent on S.S. letter and one other.
