(Hartford) Up at 7.30. Had talk with Alice. Called at Father's. Out to Camps to inquire about Charley. Wrote letters. Downtown, in afternoon. Met Alice & Sophy. Rode home with them in cars. Called again at Father's. Took bath. Off at 9.40 for New Haven. Slept on cars. At 11pm took steamer Continental for New York. Retired at once. Sent ten S.S. letters and three others.
