(Providence, R.I.) Up at 7.15. Pleasant morning. Out at 9am to Beneficent Ch.S.S. Mr. Kingsbury addressed it. Off at 9.45 to visit mission school in country with Record and his son, in his team. Visited and addressed school at Simmonsville and Saybrook in Johnston. Dined at Manton Hotel. Rode to Woodville, addressed S.S. there. Rode to Prov'ce with Mr. Mackintosh, stopping at Roger Williams Chapel. In evening preached to children at Free Congl. Church on child-piety. Home with Mr. Bartlett. Called on Mr. Barstow. Back to City Hotel. Retired at 11.30, after commencing letter to Fred.
