(Hartford) Up at 7.20. Rev. A. King called with Twichell. Wrote on Memorial address. Coal came. Had it put in the cellar. Wrote to Fred & Rev. D. M. Merriam. Downtown in forenoon. Out to Arsenal and Spring Grove Cemetery with Johnny. Called at McClunie's. Ice-cream for dinner. Rev. Mr. King started for Norwich but missed train. Anxious for Johnny. Downtown at bank, post-office, etc. Out to Plainville at 6.20. At Rev. C. L. Ayer's in evening. Called at depot to see Mr. Fox. Wrote on advances. Talked with Ayer in his study. Retired at 10.45.
