(Hartford) Up at 7. Wrote one S.S. letter. In afternoon rode with Johnny to Glastonbury. He had narrow escape s from severe injury by horse throwing him. Home at 7. Out to James to social gathering in evening. Balanced cash. Retired at 12.15.
