(Hartford) Up at 8.15 quite unwell. Letter from Frank Allen. Had talk with Alice about marketing. Kept my bed much of the day. Wrote letter to Fred. Slept most of afternoon. Other talks with Alice. Mrs. Shepard called. Wrote Frank Allen. Balanced cash. Wrote up diary. Called at Father's. Took bath. Retired at 11.
