(Hartford) Up at 9. Made out monthly report. Borrowed $300 of Father. Downtown to bank and post-office after dinner. Sent off report for January to Phila. Telegraphed Fred. Sent nine S.S. letters. At 6.20 Fred came from Norwich. Passed evening with him at home. Very cold. Retired at 11.30.
