(Hartford) Up at 7.30. Children went to Mr. Simpson's for cucumbers. Out with Mr. Camp to see Leonard Church. Hunted for him for two hours. Had talk with him at L. J. Welles's store. Had talk also with T. M. Allyn at Bronson's store. After dinner rode with Mr. Camp. Alice, Ally, & Baby to Cedar Hill. At 7, Mr. Camp left for Boston. Downtown with Johnny. Out towards Mr. Camp's met him going downtown. Went with him to see Curtis. Storrs and Sterns. Home very tired. Retired at 10. Sent letter to Fred.
