(New York City) Up at 8.15. Still raining. Out to see Kingsbury. Met him at Grand Central Hotel. Called at Taylor's and at Tyler's. Had talk with Kirkpatrick and Scofield about publications of S.S. Union. Off at 12.15 for Stonington, with Kingsbury. Wrote Alice and Johnny. Sent letters by F. L. Gleason. Met Mrs. Stiles Stanton & Mrs. C. P. Williams on cars, also B. J. Bourn. At Stonington at 6. Stopped to tea at Tremont House. Called at Uncle Frank's, Billy Farming's, and Dr. Hyde's, also at post-office. Off at 8.15 for Westerly, with Kingsbury. Stopped at Dixon House. Called at Jesse L. Moss'. Retired at 11. Wrote Fred. Raining all day & evening. Sent one S.S. letter and one other.
