(Hartford, Ct.) Up at 9am. Worked at table writing letters and examining papers all morning and an hour or two after dinner. Called at Father's. Downtown. Talked with Bromley. Met Warner at Courant office & walked up Hill with him. Wrote up diary. Out to Camps in evening. Sent twenty S.S. letters and two others. Wrote two other S.S. letters. Retired at 11.10.
