(Hartford) Up at 7.50. Pleasant morning. Charley Camp & Seymour Tryon called. Balanced cash. Worked on sermon most of day. Fletcher went to Norwalk & Greenwich & Danbury. Downtown with Alice after dinner. Called at Mrs. Bartholomew's on Miss Stone. Sent off four S. S. letters and one other. Called at Father's. Downtown again in evening. Bought sermon paper. Had talk with Ruggles. Wrote again on sermon. Took bath. Retired at 12.10.
