(New York) Up at 7.30. Bright & beautiful day. Out to Jackson's before breakfast. After breakfast packed basket and off for downtown. At Wallace Gallaudet's completed packing. Went to San Salvidor. Left basket for Fred with John Jones. Sent two letters to Fred. Met Mr. Baldwin. Called at 599 Bdway. Also at 200 ---berry Street. Again to Mary Prime's. Home by evening express. Met Rev. R. S. Evans on cars. Bought new gold pen. Wrote on letter to Gray. Met Chas. Camp at depot. Downtown to post-office. Bought oysters. Home at 9. Took bath. Retired at 11.15.
