(Hartford) Awoke with severe headache. Kept my bed until after noon. Up with difficulty at 3pm. Letters from Gray & Fred. Wrote awhile. Sent six S. S. letters off and one other. Wrote on letters to English gentlemen in evening. Called at Father's. Wrote up diary. Retired at 12.15. Wakeful until 2am.
