(Hartford) Up at 7.40. Warmer weather. Down to Church at 9.20 to attend Convention. Spoke on Finance of S. S. Obtained postage envelopes from post-office. After dinner, again down to Church. Long and delightful letter from Fred. Took Sophie from school to Church. Mr. Proctor took charge of infant class. Spoke of the value of the Convention to the S. S. cause in the state. After Convention sessions closed went to tea with G. C. Fletcher & A. Taylor to Mr. Hodge's. Thence home. Looked over papers. Wrote up diary. Sent one S. S. letter & one other. Wrote Rev. W. W. Beldon & W. H. ---- Robertson. Took bath. Retired at 11.15.
