(Hartford) Up at 7.15. Cloudy morning. Fletcher off for Bristol - Scott Swamp. Called at Father's. Downtown. Had photograph taken at Prescott's. Called at Ruggle's, post-office, etc. Again downtown after dinner. Paid H. R. Tryon's bill. Drew money from bank. Letter from Fred. Answered it at Mr. Fessenden's office. Wrote letters briskly forenoon and afternoon. Sophy & May went in evening to Camps. Uncle Nelson Fowler & Uncle Frank Trumbull called. Wrote again in evening, and looked over papers. Retired at 11.30. Snowing in evening. Called again at Father's. Sent off thirteen S. S. letters and three others.
