(Phila) Up at 7.30. Beautiful day. After breakfast at Mr. Kingsbury, off with him for downtown. Left W. Phila for New York at 1pm. Called at 599 Bdway. Lunched at Tremont House. Stopped at Bible House. Met Tyler there. Had talk with him as to Mingins - whom we called to see. Up to Mary Prime's. Found her ill with swelled face. Tel'd Alice. Dined at Mary's. Met Mr. Cummings there. Off at 8pm for home. Reached home at 1am. Found letter from Gray. Retired at 2am. Sent letter to T. A. Hubbard.
