(Stockbridge, Mass.) Up at 5.50. After breakfast, off at 6.45 with Mr. Reid. to State Line. Lovely morning. Took train for Chatham. Thence to Claverack. Found Walter Camp at Hudson River Institute. Saw Rev. Mr. Flack. Walked about grounds and around town with Walter. Addressed boys & girls in Moral Science Class. Dined at Institute. Started for Poughkeepsie. Decided to remain overnight. Took nap in Walter's room. Finished letter to Fred. After tea, addressed teachers and scholars in Chapel. Retired, with Walter at 10.
