(Hartford) Up at 7.20. Remained at home all day. Read papers and books. Conducted Church Service with children and Alice in latter's room. Took nap after dinner. In evening called at Father's. Read awhile in Yesterday, Today & Forever to Mother & Gurdon. Wrote to Gray. Commenced letter to Fred. Retired at 11.30. Snowed during afternoon.
