(East Hampton, Mass.) Up at 7. Drizzling day. Called at Seminary with Mr. Tracy. Visited room No. 12. So. Sem. also Gymnasium. Had talks with boys there. Called at Mr. Warner's & Dr. Henshaw's. Met Dr. H. and Mr. Smith on street, also Mr. Williston. Off for Mt. Tom at 10.10am. Thence to Spring'd. Met Marsh, Port & Syd. Parsons on cars. Called in Spring'd on Holland. Dined with him at Massasoit. Home by 3.30 train. Found Alice down with erysipelas. Mrs. Egiton with her. Wrote Fred, Gray, Ned & Bern. Downtown after tea. Children went to Asylum. Called for them there, after call at Father's. Dr. Hunt called. Wrote up diary. Retired at 11.15, sleeping in South room. Sent off one other S. S. letter.
