(Hartford) Up at 7.30. Rainy day. Wrote letters and looked over letters & papers. Dr. Hunt & Father called. Made out monthly a/p. Fletcher went to Glastonbury in afternoon. Downtown soon after dinner. Wrote letters again. Sent off thirteen S. S. letters and two others. Downtown before tea. Read awhile to Alice. Worked on cash a/p. Called at Father's. Wrote on letter to Gray until 1.30am. Retired at 2am.
