(New York) Up at 7.50. Finished packing basket. Wrote awhile. After breakfast rode to 599 Bdway. Had long talk with Tyler. Thence to -- San Salvador. Left basket with W'm Noland. Back to Mary Prime's. Off for home by 3pm train. Met Rev. J. C. Fletcher, Gen. Birge, Mr. Southworth, Rev. Mr. Lathrop, Mrs. Gates, young Gray & etc. Home at 7.15. Sent off two S. S. letters & one other. Downtown to post-office. Called at Father's. Retired at 12.10.
