(Boston) Up at 7.50. After breakfast called at Shute's, Noyes', Pratt's, Kinsley's, Chapman's, Richardson's, etc. Wrote Fred & Durant. Dined at Parker's. Met Pollard, also sup't of Dr. Kirk's S. S. At 5.15 went out to Woburn. Stopped at Pollard's. I took tea at Pratt's & went to Pollard's later. Gray already there. Mr. Robinson at Pratt's. Sickness in Pratt's family. Retired at Pollard's at 10.30. Sent letter to Mr. Wurts about Gray.
