(Hartford) Up at 7.50. Wrote letters. Sent off six S. S. letters and one telegram and three other letters. At noon off for Boston. Dined at Springfield. Wrote on sermon to youn men - commencing it anew on cars. At Boston, called on Shute. Thence to Charlestown to Dr. Hurd's. Passed evening and night there, retiring at 11.45.
