(New York) Up, at dock, at 7.15. Mailed letter to Gray. Breakfasted at Parkers. Had hair cut. Called at 599 Bdway. Letter from Gray. Attended meeting of Committee, at Dr. Crosby's 4th Av. Church to arrange for Nat'l S. S. Convention. Thence to Mary Prime's. Called at Baldwin's on 14th St. Back to Mary Prime's. Lunched there. Off for home at 3pm. Met Col. Cheney, Byington, E. W. Parsons & others on cars. Had discussion with theological student as to care of children. Home at 7.30. Downtown & called at Dr. Hunt's & at Geer & Pond's for _____ books. Home at 10 after call at Father's. Had letter from Gray. Took bath. Retired at 11.45. Sent four S. S. letters.
