(Charlestown, Mass.) Up at 7.45. After breakfast, rode to Boston. Called on Shute. Wrote on sermon and on letters. Sent three S. S. letters and one other. Dined at Young's. Called at post-office, at Goodman's & at Jos. S. Rope's. Tooks supper with Shute. At 9pm met Goodman at Worcester depot & rode with him to Roxbury. Met Lt. Shepard of Mass. 24th on cars. At Roxbury stopped with Goodman. Looked over my sermon on Hypocrisy. Retired at 12.30.
