(Woburn, Mass.) Up at 7.40. Off at 9am for Boston. Met Mr. Denis, Mr. Robinson & others on cars. Attended meeting of Congl. ministers at Congl Building. Heard discussion of preaching to children. Spoke on it. Had talk with Rev. Mr. Wellman on statistics. Called on Kinsley, Shutes', Pratt's, Durant's, state-house, Congl office, Noyes, Sargent's, etc. Wrote Fred. Dined at Young's. Wrote and talked at Shute's. Called at Goodman's. Took tea at Parker House. Retired at 9.40.
