(New York) Up at 7. Breakfasted at Parker's. Mailed letter to Fred. Had hair cut. Called at Wallace's, also at A. S. Barnes' to see young Engles. Uptown at noon. Called at Tyler's & talked over Western work & new Sec'y for N. West. Off for Greenwich at 2.15. Wrote on cars. At Slossons' about 4. Pleasant afternoon & evening there with the children. Called on Lt. Wright. Out in evening to Tableaux at Town Hall. Retired at 11.30. Sent two S.S. letters.
