(Cleveland, Ohio) Up at 8.25. After breakfast walked to post-office. Saw statue of Com. Perry. Off for Niagara Falls at 11. Maj. Stryker & Miss Atterbury on train. Dined at Erie. Wrote Walter & Alice. Reached Buffalo at 5.30 and Niagara at 7.15. Stopped at International Hotel. After tea walked with Fred to Falls, Goat Island, Luna Island, etc. Beautiful moonlit views of the Falls. Retired at 12.15.
