(Hartford) Up at 7.15. Downtown with Bern. Called at N. H. R. R. office. Home and wrote letters. Wrote Mr. Camp, Walter, Fred and others. Sent thirteen S.S. letters & telegrams and five others. Off for Springfield at 4.45. Met Gray's parents and sister on cars. Holland met me at Sp'd depot. Took supper at Massasoit. Called at Marsh's, also at Rev. Mr. Grave's. Home by steamboat train. Called at Father's. Wrote up diary. Retired at 10.50.
