(Phila) Up at 7.15. After breakfast, walked to Slater's with Fish. Thence to Am. S.S. Union rooms. Met Com'e on Miss'n for discussion of Missouri matters. Called on Dr. Allibone. Off with Tyler for New York at 1.20. Wrote up diary, and on articles for National Baptist. Reached N.Y. at 5pm. Called at Devlin's & at Austin's on 5th Av. also at S.S. Mission rooms. Took supper at Hoffman House. Off for home at 8pm. Reached home at 1am. Tel'd Alice & Rev. M. M. G. Dana from New York. At home read letters & took bath. Long & delightful letter from Fred! Retired at 2.20.
