(Str. Traveller) Awoke at 6.30. Steamer being towed back to New York by Elm City. Reached there at 8. Up to St. Nicholas. Thence to Mary Prime's to breakfast. Thence to Fred Baldwin's. Down to Bern Budd's & to 599 Bdway. Wrote Mr. Camp & Fred. Saw Tyler. Down to St. Nicholas. Back to Bern's. Up at Mary's. Off at 12.15 for home. Met Keep & others from Steamer on cars. Wrote Gray. Met Rev. John Pegg and talked with him as to Old Times and new. Wrote up diary. Home at 5. Downtown. Tel'd H. Hooker & Westfield. Called at Father's. Looked over letters. Retired at 10.45.
