(Cave City, Ky.) Up at 5.30. Bright and lovely day. Off at 6.30 for Mammoth Cave. Entered cave about 10.15. Wandered in it until 12.45. Wrote awhile at hotel. Returned after dinner and a rest on the piazza to the railroad. After supper there off at 7.30 for Louisville. Had nice naps on train. Reached Louisville about 10.30. Went to Galt House. Mailed letters for Alice.
