(Brooklyn, N.Y.) Up at 6. After breakfast, off for New York with Mrs. Gallaudet & children. Left for Phila. at 8.40. Met Miss Bacon of New Haven on cars. No seat all the way to Phila. Reached there at noon. Called at Union rooms. Met Rev. Edwd. Wurts. Called on Dr. Allibone. Talked over Gray matters and other affairs with Mr. Wurts. Dined at Continental. Off for New York at 6.45 from West Phila. Reached Astor House for night at 11.15. Wrote on statement concerning Gray. Retired at 1.
