(Hartford) Up at 7.50. Bright day. In forenoon attended Asylum Hill Church. Heard Rev. J. P. Skule preach on Fighting Resetting Sins. In afternoon attended Asylum Hill Concert and heard Father Hawley & Charles Collins speak. Spoke also on Dr. Todd's lessons of memory. Alice & three children out. Home with them. Commenced letter to Fred. Charley Stowe came to tea & passed evening. Wrote again to Fred. Took bath. Retired at 10.30.
