(Norwalk, Ct.) Up at 6.15. After breakfast, walked out with Mr. Bissell. Called at church to see Miss Woodbury. Down to So. Norwalk. Met Miss Carter & Rev. Mr. White. Off for home by express train at noon. Found Baby very low. After dinner, called at Dr. Hunt's & Dr. Beresford. They came in consultation. Dr. Hunt came in five times during day & evening. Went downtown in evening with Fred. Called at post-office, market, etc. Wrote up diary. Sent off five S.S. letters & one telegram. Watched with dear Harry until midnight with much hope. Then he grew weaker. At 1 called Alice. Sent Fred for Dr. Hunt. Called at Father's for Mother. Harry died at 1.45. Dr. Hunt came about 2.15. Lay down at 3, with Fred.
