(Springfield, Mass) Awoke with headache at 6.30. Kept my bed until 8.45. Up at out to see Holland. Mailed letter to Fred. Off at 10.40 for Hartford. Reached home at noon. After reading letters went to U. S. Hotel to 7th C.V. re-union. Spoke there. Wrote at Fessenden's office to Tyler & Alice. Tel'd Parker House. Off, after tea at Father's, to Boston. Met Chas. Marsh & Rev. H. H. McFarland on cars. Reached Parker House at 12.10. Retired at 12.40.
