(Hartford) Up at 6.30. Off at 8.10 with Alice for Sharon by rail to Bridgeport and Cornwall Bridge. Wrote Mr. Drucklee, Pres't Clark, & Dr. Chadwick. Dined at Merwinsville. Rode by stage coach to Sharon. Showery afternoon. Stopped at Gen. C. F. Sedgwick's. Attended Seventh Annl S.S. Convn. of Litch'd Co. No. Consen. at Congl. Ch. Spoke on The Free Idea of a S.S. Met Langdon, Brush, Payson, Powell, and others. Rev. Gno. C. Terrett my old school teacher. Pleasant meeting. Attended evening session of Convn. with Alice in rain storm. Retired at 12. Allen sent telegram for me to C.A. Richardson.
