(Sharon, Ct.) Up at 6.30. After breakfast and good byes, off at 8.30 by stage for Cornwell Bridge. Bright day. At Ellsworth met Rev. Mr. Bissell. Took Housatonic R.R. cars at C. Bridge for Bridgeport about 11.30. Dined at Merriamsville. At Bridgeport, about 2.30 called at Meeker & Shelton's. Thence to Kate's by team. Stopped there about two hours. Back to Bridgeport. Took evening express to Hartford. Home about 7.15. Found Mr. T. H. Camp there. Delighted to see him. After tea, he went to Tryon's while I read letters. Later, talked with him until midnight. Then, retired. Two letters from Fred.
