(Hartford) Up at 8.15. Downtown after breakfast. Called at photographers. Mr. Marsh came from Springfield. Kate & children went home by 3.30pm train. Called on Dr. Hunt with Fred. Talked over S.S. matters with Mr. Marsh. Sent seven S.S. letters and three others. In evening young Learned called. Retired at 11.
