(Hartford) Up at 8. Bright day. Read awhile after breakfast. Attended Asylum Hill Church with Alice, Mother Gallaudet & my own mother. Heard Rev. Dr. Bodwell preach on "This is a faithful saying &etc.". Communion service followed. In afternoon read, wrote & napped it awhile. Wrote Mr. Camp & Fred in evening, also to Gen. Terry. Read latter to Alice. Took bath. Retired at 10.45.
