(Hartford) After troubled night with Harry, up at 7.15. Down to depot and met Ned & Chas. Denison on 8.10 train. Walked with Ned to Mr. Fessenden's. Called at Dr. Hunt's. He came to see Baby. Off at 9.40 for Spring'd. Called at Holland's, hotel & telegraph office. Home by noon express. Started for 2pm train for Spring'd but decided not to go. Downtown. Talked with Calvin Day about Asylum matters. Rec'd telegram from Fred Camp. Ned G. & Chas. Denison came to tea. Off at 7.15 for Spring'd. Called at Mrs. Merriam's. Rainy evening. At 9pm Fred Camp came from Watertown. Passed the night at Massasoit. Retired at 12.30. Sent three letters one telegram.
