(Rutland, Vt.) Up at 6.30. After breakfast conducted prayer-meeting from 8 to 9 at Congl Ch. Called on Chas. Pierpont. Mailed letters. Spoke in convention on How To improve spiritual ton of the S.S.'s. After dinner attended Convention and addressed children. Answered questions from Question-box, with Burnell, before and after dinner. Off at 3pm for Albany, with Burnell. Thence to Springfield. Had talk with newsboy, after leaving Saratoga. Reached Massasoit at 1.45. Retired at 2.15.
