(Eastern Point) Up at 7 nauseated and heavy. Pleasant day. Made notes of August expenditures and receipts. Wrote letters. Over to New London with Johnny & Sophy on their way to Hartford. Ally with me. Called at Learned's. Paid $20 to Joshua. Obtained $50 in check from Leonard. Telegraphed Wallace . Johnny & Sophy off by 11.15 train. Back with Ally at noon. Stopped in after dinner. Worked on Concert exercise for Novr. Wrote letters. Nelly Camp came from Hartford by 5.30 boat from New London. Out on rocks with Alice and her in evening. Retired at 10.40.
