(New York) Up at 7. After breakfast called at Frank Allen's. Pleasant chat with him. Down to Bible House. Saw Wisewell. Called at Vincent's. Found him at hotel. Bought cloth maps. Up to Y.M.C.A. buildings to attend meeting of Evangelical Alliance. Met a host of friends. Had talks with Dr. Buddington, Gen. Tonsk, John Wanamaker, Paltz, Alf. Taylor, etc. Heard Bucher, Dr. Parker, Dr. Hall on preaching. Up with Mr. Haven & Johnny to Hotel Brunswick to dinner. Down to Ferris'. Up to Broadway Tabernacle to S.S. meeting. Heard Drs. Martin & Vincent, Chas. Reed & Pastor Weiss! Back to Grand Union Hotel. Retired, after lunch at 11.
