(Hartford) Up at 7.50. after tired night. Head troubling me, called at Father's. Wrote article for Courant on Bank Thieves. Called at office. Met Hawley and talked with him. Met Gage. At bank, at Talcott & Post, at Williams & Howe's, etc. Subscribed for Y. M. Institute membership. After dinner aided Father to house and back. Wrote on copy for "World" and on letters. Looked over and arranged papers in evening. Retired early, after call at Father's, about 9.45 weak and tired.
