(Hartford) Up at 8. Bright day. Out to Communion Service in forenoon. Twichell preached on Terms of Communion. Called at Father's. Attended Asylum Hill S.S. at noon. Spoke about German & Indian children. Read papers. Over to Father's. Sat with him, and walked with him for two or three hours. Pleasant hour of evening worship. Retired at 10.
