(Hartford) Up at 8.30 with severe headache. Rev. N. Weiss of Paris called. Mr. Staver came soon after. Lizzie Camp with us at breakfast. Downtown with Johnny, after call at Father's. Called at Talcott & Post's, frame-makers., etc. At Father's in afternoon. Took nap on sofa there. Johnny went on walking party. Balanced cash. Downtown after tea with Sophy to Fuller's & Brill's & Conklin's. Called at Father's. Wrote letters. Wrote up diary. Annie in pain. With Johnny aided her by clove anodyne. Charlie restless. Retired at 11.30.
