(Eastern Point) Up at 6.30. Hot and foggy morning. After breakfast slept most of forenoon in Johnny's room. Again lay down after dinner. Out to shore with Johnny and Ally. Read Independent, and talked about theology of Unitarians, Universalists, and Old and New School Calvinists. Chatted on piazza after tea. Retired about 8.40.
