(Hartford) Up at 7.50. Bright morning. Soon cloudy. At Father's wrote all forenoon. Wrote up diary. Johnny off on walking party with Lizzie Camp and others. Off at 4 for Winsted. Revised sermon as I rode. At Noble's to tea about 6.30. Miss Bulkeley of Malone there. At Dr. Hinsdale's for the night. Finished version of sermon. Retired at 10.
