(West Winsted, CT) Up at 7.30. Pleasant day. Head aching, over to parsonage with Dr. Hinsdale. Out to Cong. Church at 10.15. Preached on the Gain of Godliness and conducted service. After lunch out to S.S. taught a class and addressed the school. Took nap before dinner. In evening addressed gathering at the chapel on California, Chinese, Mormons, etc. Rainy evening. Retired at 10.30.
